Oh… How I love CES (Consumers Electronics Show). I’ve never been before but I’m going to make it to the heaven-for-gadget-lovers one of these days. I don’t fret about not being able to go. With all of the coverage, it’s just like I’m there. I can see it all without paying for hotel or airfare.

Last year CES introduced us to Bug Labs. I fell in love with these guys. They make snap together DIY gadgets. You have a base gadget that you can customize based on your needs. If you need a projector with wifi, you can build it. If you need a camera, speakers with 3g, you got it. I’ve heard some folks call it legos for rich kids but I still love the idea. Will I buy? Someday.

Other announcements I’m excited about are:
$99 touch MP3 player by Memorex. It’s 8 GB!
$200 Sony web camcorder
$180/ $250 Acoustic Research Universal Remote
The LG’s LHB979 Home Theater System makes me want to melt.

My favorite site for CES information is CNet’s page. You can find it at http://ces.cnet.com/.
