The first part of the most anticipated summer Syfy crossover has aired and exceeded expectations.
That’s right kids, Syfy’s summer flagship shows Eureka and Warehouse 13 have joined forces to solve wacky mysteries. First, Neil Grayston as Fargo joins Warehouse 13 to help with computer upgrades but triggers a 70’s H.A.L-like Odo that locks down the warehouse and threatens the crew with lethal force. …and I by lethal force, I mean rolly-polly, shoot ‘em up robots! I knew we were going to get a treat with having Neil Grayston on but I didn’t know that Rene Auberjonois (Odo of Deep Space Nine) was joining the episode too. We also got treated to a ray gun / electro ring combo that resulted in a lightsaber. Myka and Pete had their share of funny and outrageous moments as well. Every other line was a geeky homage or a sci-fi reference. It was a lot of fun.
The fun doesn’t stop there. Allison Scagliotti as Claudia will be joining the cast of Eureka this Friday. Who knows what type of trouble she’ll get into while she’s there! I’d like to see more crossovers like this. It really makes both shows even more exciting.
