Honestly, I stopped watching Big Bang Theory. Earlier this year when I moved to Ithaca, NY, I didn’t have a TV and CBS wasn’t streaming Big Bang Theory online. I stopped watching and even when CBS started streaming the show, I tried it for a few episodes and it seemed like the characters hadn’t evolved any and the same jokes were being used over and over. I do like the mainstream success that the show is having; even my Mom watches it now! I was excited because I thought maybe America was trying to get inside the heads of “geeks” and “nerds”. It could be that America is laughing AT them (us?) and not WITH them. The show seems to have fallen out of favor with self-proclaimed geeks and nerds because they claim it’s geeksploitation. If it’s on I’ll watch it, if not meh.
