This has been one the best seasons of Eureka thus far. It would be understandable for ratings to drop because if the big sweeping changes to the story but they didn’t. In fact, Eureka has been renewed for a fifth season AND finished with 31.6 million viewers for this season! A shuffling of character changes, alternate time line and serial-lite story telling all sound like ingredients in a recipe for disaster. It wasn’t and writers, actors and crew pulled it off quite well. To recap, we traveled back to 1947, brought in a new character, had a rocket race, a zombie invasion, a robot disaster, crossover with Warehouse 13, brought back a beloved (by me especially) character Nathan Stark, brought back Beverly Barlow, had a conspiracy, killed Allison and brought her back and that was ALL this season.
